Welcome to WAK-9 Training, Daycare, and Boarding! Our clients have frequently asked questions about our different training, boarding, and daycare options. Please read on to see what all the barking is about!

WAK-9 Training Summer Operations & Reservation Information 2026

As we head into the summer season, our daycare, boarding, Board N’ Train, and training services begin ramping up quickly. We wanted to provide important information for all current and future clients so expectations are clear going into our busiest time of year.

Deposits & Reservations

Full payment for all services is required at the time of reservation setup through Gingr. Summer scheduling fills rapidly, and last-minute cancellations or no-shows create significant disruptions to business operations and staffing.

The good news? Gingr allows you to schedule and pay for reservations anytime — whether it’s 7 PM or 3 AM. Once submitted, reservations are reviewed and confirmed during normal business hours (7 AM – 5 PM).

**NO DROP IN DAYCARE OR BOARDING WILL BE ACCEPTED. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. **

Vaccination Requirements

All dogs attending daycare, boarding, or training at our facility are required to have current:

• DHLPP

• Bordetella

• Rabies

These vaccinations must be completed prior to your reservation. Oregon state regulations require these vaccinations for boarding and daycare facilities.

Client Agreements & Reservation Information

Each reservation type includes a specific client agreement through your Gingr portal. Whether your reservation is for:

• Boarding

• Board N’ Train

• Daycare

• Private Training

…you may receive different agreements and informational sheets based on the service selected.

These agreements outline:

• Expectations during your dog’s stay

• Required training tools or equipment

• Food and medication instructions

• Reservation-specific policies

• Service details and FAQs

We strongly encourage all clients to regularly log into their Gingr portal to review and sign all required documents before arrival.

Cards on File & Cancellation Policy

A card on file is required for all reservation types. This does NOT mean you are limited to paying by card — we still accept:

• Venmo

• Cash App

• Cash

• Check

The card on file simply allows us to manage cancellations, no-shows, or incidental charges if necessary.

Please note:

Deposits are non-refundable and are retained in the event of cancellations or missed reservations. Cancellations or no shows directly impacts business operations and staffing.

Facility Walk-Throughs & Appointments

Due to increased summer volume, all facility walk-throughs are now by appointment only.

Because we work with dogs of all temperaments — including aggressive and behavioral cases — we must safely relocate and secure dogs before allowing visitors into certain areas of the property.

For the safety of our clients, staff, and dogs:

• Please do not arrive for walk-throughs without a scheduled appointment

• Walk-in clients will be scheduled for a future appointment time

• No immediate tours will be provided upon walk-up arrival

Please continue reviewing service information, our FAQs below, and policies here and Gingr portal so your reservation process remains smooth and efficient.
